About the training program

Introduction

This course is designed to provide undergraduate,
postgraduate, and PhD students as well as the
faculty members and industry persons with a
comprehensive understanding of key analytical
techniques, including X-ray Diffraction (XRD).
X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), Thermogravimetric
Analysis (TGA), and Differential Scanning
Calorimetry (DSC).
Analytical instruments are crucial in scientific
research, material characterization, and industrial
applications. This program combines theoretical
knowledge with demonstrations of analytical
instruments.
Through this program, participants will develop a
strong foundation in the principles, operation, and
applications of these techniques.

Objective

  • Equip PhD students, faculty members, and
    industry persons with fundamental knowledge
    of advanced analytical techniques.
  • Provide practical experience in using
    sophisticated instruments.
  • Develop proficiency in data interpretation.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will gain a
strong theoretical foundation in XRD, XRF, TGA, and
DSC techniques. They will develop practical skills in
operating analytical instruments for material
characterization and learn to analyze and interpret
experimental data for research and industrial
applications. The course will help students
understand how these techniques are applied in
various scientific and industrial fields.
